Workers added President Donald Trump’s name to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, a day after members of the venue’s board voted for the change despite questions about their legal authority to do so.

Trump’s name was placed on the exterior of Washington’s premier arts venue above the existing lettering. The center also refers to itself “The Trump Kennedy Center” at the top of its homepage.
