Pakistan to Sell 75% Stake in National Flag Carrier PIA

Pakistan plans to sell a controlling stake in the national flag carrier, a long-struggling enterprise central to the government’s privatization drive.

Pakistan International Airlines will see 75% of its shares offered in an auction on Dec. 23, with bidders given the option to acquire the remaining 25% at a premium, Muhammad Ali, the prime minister’s adviser on privatization said by phone.
