Magnum Moves to Oust Chair of Ben & Jerry’s, FT Reports

The Magnum Ice Cream Co. is moving to oust the chair of Ben & Jerry’s board, the Financial Times reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Magnum told Ben & Jerry’s chair Anuradha Mittal that she wasn’t eligible to serve on the board with immediate effect following an external investigation, according to the FT. An audit of Ben & Jerry’s charitable arm uncovered conflicts of interest, the FT reported.
