Migrant Crossings of UK Channel Resume After 28-Day Pause: PA

Migrants began crossing the English Channel in small boats on Saturday, ending the longest pause in the journeys in seven years, the Press Association reportedBloomberg Terminal.

Prior to this weekend, the last recorded arrivals were on Nov. 14, making the 28-day stretch the longest without crossings since the autumn of 2018, PA said, citing Home Office figures.
