Harvard Professor, Vanderbilt Chief Exit Columbia’s Top Job Search

Columbia University extended its search for a new president as it seeks to find a permanent replacement after losing two leaders in the past 16 months.

The school said in April it wanted a new president to take office no later than Jan. 1 but has not yet decided on a candidate, according to people with knowledge of the search.
