Poland Looks to Sell More Ukraine-Tested Military Gear to Allies
Poland’s biggest defense holding, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa SA, seeks to ramp up sales to European allies and tighten cooperation with heavyweights including Rheinmetall AG, Thales SA and BAE Systems Plc.
Chief Executive Officer Adam Leszkiewicz told Bloomberg News the state-owned company plans to gain more foreign contracts for its equipment — including portable air-defense systems and howitzers that have been battle-tested in Ukraine. He also sees opportunities for the company to expand to clients beyond the Polish military with sales of dual-use gear to the private sector.
