Octopus Energy Sees One Million Spanish Customers by Next Year

Octopus Energy Group Ltd. expects to roughly double the number of its customers in Spain by the second half of next year, with a medium-term target to leapfrog the country’s Naturgy Energy Group SA.

The British utility currently has more than 500,000 customers in Spain, up from about 250,000 at the start of the year. Its ultimate goal to move ahead of Naturgy would make it the nation’s third-largest energy supplier.
