KKR to Invest in Assets of Brookfield’s Compass Datacenters

KKR & Co. agreed to invest in the portfolio of Compass Datacenters, the digital infrastructure operator backed by Brookfield Asset Management Ltd., as private equity giants race to grab a bigger piece of the AI boom.

Compass Datacenters signed a definitive agreement for KKR to invest in a portion of its operating data centers and future assets, it said in an emailed statement in response to Bloomberg News queries. The deal is expected to raise several billion dollars, according to a person with knowledge of the matter, who asked not to be identified because the information is private.
