Blank Check Firm Mayflower Debuts After $500 Million London IPO

Mayflower Acquisition Ltd., an investment vehicle backed by Toms Capital’s Noam Gottesman and former Lehman Brothers banker Jeremy Isaacs, began trading in London on Friday morning, adding to a spurt of year-end activity for the bourse.

The investment vehicle raised $500 million through the sale of shares and warrants to pursue an acquisition, including $75 million from the founding investors and others affiliated with Gottesman. It started trading on Friday morning in London, with the shares opening in-line with the offering price of $10 apiece.
