The so-called Bonar bond being offered is due in November 2029, and has a coupon of 6.5%, the Economy Ministry said in a post on X. Part of the money will be used to cover upcoming maturities on sovereign debt, Economy Minister Luis Caputo added in a television interview. Argentina has about $4.5 billion in bond payments due in January, and a similar amount for July.
