Reform Eclipses Labour, Tories With Crypto Backer’s Record Gift

Nigel Farage’s Reform UK raked in more donations than any other British political party in the third quarter, boosted by a record £9 million ($12 million) gift from crypto investor Christopher Harborne, in a sign business and the wealthy are taking the party’s polling lead seriously.

The populist outfit received £10.3 million from July to September, according to Electoral Commission data compiled by Bloomberg, with Keir Starmer’s governing Labour Party receiving £2.2 million and the main opposition Conservatives on £4.7 million. The figures exclude the public funding given to opposition parties.
