MUFG Seeks to Extend Morgan Stanley Ties to Asset Management Business

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. plans to team up with Morgan Stanley in asset management, deepening their 17-year partnership.

“Without doubt, global asset management is an area that will expand in the next 10 years,” Hideaki Takase, MUFG’s chief strategy officer, said in an interview. “This is a new field where we can deepen our collaboration.”
