MDA Space Mulls Inaugural High-Yield Bond Sale of $179 Million

Canadian space-technology company MDA Space Ltd. is preparing to raise around C$250 million ($179 million) in the high-yield bond market later this week, according to people familiar with the matter.

The bond will likely mature in five years, with the option for the seller to buy it back after two, the people said, asking not to be identified as they aren’t authorized to speak publicly. Initial pricing for the bond is being discussed in the 7% area, they added.
