Iran Says It Held Talks With Turkey on Nuclear Issue and Israel

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said he discussed his country’s nuclear program and Israel’s actions in the Middle East region with his Turkish counterpart on Sunday.

“We had very close and productive consultations today, and we’ll continue them,” Araghchi said during a televised press conference in Tehran with Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The talks covered “Iran’s nuclear issue and US sanctions” as well as the reimposition of United Nations sanctions on Tehran in September, the Iranian minister added.
