Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities searched the apartment of Andriy Yermak, the influential top aide to President Volodymyr Zelenskiy as the country is reeling from a major graft scandal and coming under pressure in US-led peace talks.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau, or NABU, and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, known as SAPO, carried out the searches early on Friday morning. Yermak confirmed that investigators were “conducting procedural actions” at his home and said he was cooperating fully.
