Sri Lanka Keeps Policy Rate Steady as Recovery Gains Pace

Sri Lanka’s central bank left its benchmark rate unchanged for a third straight meeting to help inflation return to target while supporting the economy’s growth trajectory.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka maintained its overnight policy rate at 7.75% on Wednesday. All 10 economists surveyed by Bloomberg expected no change.
