Aegon Said to Explore Divestments to Bolster Focus on US Market

Aegon Ltd. is exploring selling some of its operations outside of the US as it looks to focus on its largest market, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

The Dutch insurer, which generates the majority of its profit from the US, is working with financial advisers, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing an ongoing process. Aegon UK, which administers retirement accounts, is among the units being evaluated for divestment, the people said.
