Slovenia Rejects Croatia’s Bid to Buy Ljubljana Stock Exchange

Slovenia thwarted a Croat government agency’s attempt to take over the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
The Croatian Financial Agency, known as Fina, is seeking to become the majority shareholder of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, which in turn has owned the Ljubljana bourse since 2015. Croatian regulators have green-lighted the deal, while Slovenia’s watchdog moved to block it on Tuesday.
