Belarusian Leader Pardons 31 Ukrainians Under Accords With Trump
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko pardoned 31 Ukrainians convicted of crimes in the former Soviet republic as part of agreements reached with US President Donald Trump.
The decision was taken at the request of Ukraine and was a gesture of goodwill, Natalya Eismont, the presidential press secretary, said in footage shown on the state-run Belta news service’s Telegram channel on Saturday.
