Kosovo to Hold Snap Vote as Premier Fails to Hold On to Power
Kosovo’s prime minister failed to form a new government, likely sending the Balkan nation to its second election this year after the caretaker administration exhausted all options to remain in power.
Albin Kurti, who has governed without a majority since February, fell short of in a parliamentary vote in Pristina on Wednesday. His Self-Determination party had proposed that Kurti step aside to become foreign minister while a political ally take the premiership.
