Mike Pence Raises Concerns on Saudi F-35 Sales and China Policy
Mike Pence, Donald Trump’s first-term vice president, said he was worried about the potential sale of F-35 jets to Saudi Arabia without concrete guarantees that the technology embedded in the world’s most advanced fighter would be kept secure.
The comments came ahead of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to the White House on Tuesday. President Donald Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Monday evening that he would move forward with the sale to Saudi Arabia, which he called “a great ally.”
