South Africa’s Top Money Manager Seeks Sovereign Fund Partners

South Africa’s biggest money manager wants to partner with leading sovereign wealth funds on investments outside its home market.

The Public Investment Corp., which oversees government-employee pension funds of about 3 trillion rand ($175 billion), is in talks with sovereign wealth funds to co-invest in the rest of the continent, Patrick Dlamini, its chief executive officer, said at the inaugural Bloomberg Africa Business Summit in Johannesburg.
