Airtasker Plans Equity Raising to Fund US Gowth, AFR Reports

Airtasker Ltd., an online marketplace where people post or accept tasks such as household cleaning or assembling flat-packed furniture, is preparing for an equity raising to fund growth in the US, the Australian Financial Review reported.

The Sydney-based company began consulting with potential investors over the weekend about the potential share placement, the newspaper said, citing people with knowledge of the deal that it didn’t identify. An announcement is expected as early as Monday, according to the report.
