Croatia to Back Vujcic for ECB Vice President Bid Next Year
Croatia is prepared to support Boris Vujcic’s bid for the European Central Bank’s vice presidency, setting up a contest with officials from Finland and possibly Latvia.
Vujcic, who’s headed Croatia’s central bank since 2012, is considered to be an excellent candidate by his country, according to people familiar with the matter who declined to be identified discussing private deliberations.
