Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said he plans to closeBloomberg Terminal Army Radio, one of the country’s oldest and most popular stations, accusing it of undermining “the war effort and morale.”

The shuttering, which will require government approval and will likely face a legal challenge, is the most recent effort by the ruling coalition of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to rein in media it views as hostile.
