C3.ai Gains After Report Says Software Company Is Exploring Sale
C3.ai Inc., a maker of data-analysis software, gained after Reuters reported the company is exploring a sale.
The company in September named a new chief executive officer to replace founder Tom Siebel, who announced in July that health issues would force him to step away from the job. The sales process is in its early stages and may not end with a buyer, Reuters reported Monday, citing people familiar with the talks who asked not to be named.
