Man Drives Car Into Pedestrians on French Island, Interior Minister Says

A man drove his car into several pedestrians and cyclists on the French island of Île d’Oléron on Wednesday, Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said in a post on X.

Two of the victims are in critical condition and three others have been injured, he wrote.
