Philippine Peso Poised for Rebound From Holiday Remittances After Hitting Record Low

Filipino engineer Jessie Acain, who works in Singapore, wired money home to fund a small business on the day the peso hit a record low. He plans to send more in December if the currency stays weak.

“It’s an advantage for us,” said Acain. “We send the same amount in dollars, but more money will be received.”
