Goldman Sachs Economists Renew Call for BOE Rate Cut in November

Economists at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. reinstated a forecast that the Bank of England will cut interest rates at its November meeting, bucking the market consensus that the central bank will keep rates on hold.

In a note, economists including James Moberly predicted policymakers will lower borrowing costs a quarter-point to 3.75% next week.
