Geert Wilders’ far-right Freedom Party and the progressive Democrats 66 party were in a virtual tie in early projections from the Dutch parliamentary election, as voters threw support behind more traditional centrist political groups.

The two parties are projected to finish within the margin of error, with the D66 poised to get 27 seats and the Freedom Party set to get 25, according to an Ipsos I&O exit poll late Wednesday. That result would be a blow for the Freedom Party, which won 37 seats in the previous election.
