Long before the US became the home of bourbon and rye, it was a land of brandy.

The spirit, distilled from wine or fermented fruit, was crafted when America wasn’t America yet. The earliest documented production occurred on what is now Staten Island, some 136 years before the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
