Norway’s Economic Rebound Through 2026 Seen Stronger in Survey

Norway’s mainland economy will probably undergo a faster recovery this year and next than expected earlier, according to a survey of economists by Bloomberg.

Mainland gross domestic product, which excludes Norway’s offshore oil and gas and shipping industries, is seen expanding 1.9% this year and 1.6% in 2026, based on median estimates in a survey of 20 economists conducted from Oct. 20 to Oct. 22. That compares with 1.8% and 1.5%, respectively, in the September survey.
