Cameroon Top Court Rejects Fresh Allegation of Vote Irregularity

Cameroon’s top court has rejected a petition by an opposition party, alleging discrepancies in vote count in this month’s presidential elections.

“The petition submitted by Heritage party is unreceivable,” on grounds of wrong filing, Clement Atangana, president of the Constitutional Council said in a ruling in the capital, Yaounde, on Friday.
