Cameroon Blames Internet Outage on Cable Cut as Protests Erupt

Cameroonian authorities blamed an internet disruption in the central African nation that’s facing post-election unrest on a submarine cable cut.

The online monitor NetBlocks reported the disruption Thursday, noting that network failures have extended to the neighboring Central African Republic and Congo Republic based on available metrics.
