Beyond Meat Surges on Expanded Distribution at Walmart

Beyond Meat Inc., the maker of plant-based burgers and sausages, jumped nearly 70% on Tuesday after announcing increased availability of its products at Walmart Inc.’s stores.

The products will be available at more than 2,000 Walmart stores, Beyond Meat said in a statement. The retailer will be one of the first to offer Beyond Meat’s six-pack of burgers. It will also carry Beyond Meat’s chicken pieces and Korean barbecue product.
