Trump to Fete Billionaires Schwarzman, Hamm at White House Party

Construction continues on President Donald Trump's ballroom extension at the White House in Washington. President Trump said that he and private donors will pay for the $200 million, 900-person capacity ballroom extension to the White House.

President Donald Trump will host billionaires and corporate executives, including Blackstone Inc.’s Steve Schwarzman, Continental Resources Inc.’s Harold Hamm and crypto billionaires Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, at a dinner Wednesday to highlight a new White House ballroom construction project.

Other attendees expected at the dinner, to be held in the White House East Room, include representatives from major corporations including Microsoft Corp., Meta Platforms Inc., Alphabet Inc.’s Google, Amazon.com, Lockheed Martin Corp. and Palantir Technologies Inc., according to a White House official.
