Nuclear Startup Deep Fission Has 12.5 GW Pipeline, CEO Says

California nuclear energy startup Deep Fission Inc. has signed nonbinding deals with customers, including data center operators, for 12.5 gigawatts of power. That’s the equivalent of more than 12 traditional reactors.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if people are signing multiple agreements because they don’t know who can produce the power in the time frame that we need,” given how uncertain deployment periods are, Liz Muller, co-founder and chief executive officer, said on Bloomberg Television.
