Citigroup Inc. jumped into Europe’s primary market on Wednesday as major US banks look to raise funds quickly after reporting quarterly earnings.

The New York-based lender secured €2.75 billion ($3.2 billion) from the sale of five-year and nine-year euro-denominated fixed-to-floatingBloomberg Terminal rate notes callable one year before maturity, according to a person familiar with the matter.
