Luxury Probes Threaten Made-in-Italy Brand, Tod’s Chairman Says

Tod’s SpA Chairman Diego Della Valle pushed back against Milan prosecutors, saying their probes of luxury-goods supply chains threaten the “Made in Italy” brand.

“Our family, like many others, works to do good,” Della Valle, 71, said at a press conference Friday. “We can’t treat ‘Made in Italy’ like it’s something banal.”
