Inflows Into Brazil ETF Hit 5-Year High After Trump-Lula Meeting at UN
An exchange-traded fund that buys Brazilian stocks recorded inflows for the first time since July and at a pace not seen in more than five years, as trade tensions with the US started to show signs of easing.
Investors poured more than $285 million into the $5.85 billion iShares MSCI Brazil ETF, the first weekly inflow since US President Donald Trump announced 50% tariffs on the Latin American nation on July 10. It also marks the biggest weekly inflow into the ETF since December 2019.
