German Minister Wants More State Ownership in Defense Firms: HB

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius called for greater state participation in the defense industry, in part to ensure that jobs and expertise remain in the country.

“I am firmly convinced that we need state participation — also to ensure that expertise and jobs remain in Germany,” Pistorius told Handelblatt newspaper in an interview published late on Saturday.
