JPMorgan’s Aiyengar Says Quest for Scale Is Driving Bigger M&A

The importance of achieving scale is driving companies to pursue megadeals, according to Anu Aiyengar, global head of advisory and M&A at JPMorgan Chase & Co.

M&A could be tracking 30% higher year-on-year after getting $3.4 trillion worth of transactions in the first nine months, Aiyengar said at Bloomberg’s Women, Money & Power summit in London on Wednesday.
