China Ban on BHP Iron Ore Imports ‘Disappointing,’ Albanese Says

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said China’s ban on new iron ore cargoes from BHP Group is “disappointing” and he wants the issue to be resolved quickly.

“I want to see Australian iron ore be exported into China without hindrance,” Albanese told reporters in Sydney on Wednesday. “That is important — it makes a major contribution to China’s economy but also to Australia’s.”
