German Far-Right Lawmaker’s Staffer Jailed for China Spying

The assistant, a German citizen of Chinese origin identified as Jian G., supplied Chinese intelligence with information about the AfD as well as members of China’s opposition when he was a staff member for Maximilian Krah at the European Parliament, according to a statement Tuesday from the high court for the state of Saxony.
