Hong Kong Criticizes ‘Biased’ US Investment Climate Report

Photographer: Paul Yeung/BloombergThe US State Department’s investment climate report on Hong Kong contains “biased assertions” and “false accusations” that “maliciously smear” the territory’s national security laws, the Chinese territory’s government said Sunday.
The implementation of Hong Kong’s national security laws have made it “a more attractive and secure destination for international capital and investment,” a government spokesman said in a statement on Sunday.
