Spanish Economy Grew More Than Anticipated in Second Quarter

The Spanish economy expanded more than initially reported in the second quarter, cementing its standout performance in the region.

Gross domestic product rose 0.8% from the previous quarter, stronger than 0.7% previously published by national statistics office INE. That compares with just 0.1% growth in the euro area as a whole.
