Amundi Sees Private, Public Markets Converge in Retail Cash Race

Private and public markets look set to converge as they both chase the money up for grabs from retail investors, according to Amundi SA’s Chief Executive Officer Valerie Baudson.

Speaking at the IPEM private capital conference in Paris, Baudson said that retail money will be an opportunity for the next five years. Opening up access to these individual investors is going to be a key theme for the coming decade, said KKR & Co.’s Co-Head of European Private Equity Philipp Freise.
