Palantir Expands UK Defense Deal, Investments Amid Trump Visit

Palantir Technologies Inc. is strengthening its UK ties, pledging to invest £1.5 billion in the country while winning a deal with the UK Ministry of Defence to expand the use of its AI software, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Palantir is set to finalize a £750 million, five-year deal with the ministry by the end of the year, the person said, declining to be named because they were not authorized to speak publicly. This replaces the current deal set to expire which is a £75 million, three-year arrangement, they added.
