Tesla’s German Car Plant Boosts Production Plan, Chief Tells DPA

Tesla Inc.’s German factory will produce more electric vehicles than earlier planned because of “very good sales figures,” plant manager André Thierig told German news agency DPA.

The plant near Berlin has “revised our production plans upwards for the third and fourth quarters,” Thierig said, adding that the Tesla factory continues to anticipate “positive signals for all the markets we supply.” He didn’t provide specifics on the new production targets.
