Russian Drone Breach Dims Prospects for Peace, Romania Says

Russia’s increased aggression demonstrated by this week’s drone incursion into NATO airspace is making peace in Europe a distant prospect, Romania’s top diplomat said.

Foreign Minister Oana Toiu said the attack drones’ breach into Poland and the Kremlin’s repeated efforts to test red lines in North Atlantic Treaty Organization member states lay bare the discrepancy between Moscow’s professed desire for peace and its actions.
